Pulling Strings
Zanzibar Fairytale Puppet Theater’s “Cinderella”

You suffered through the nightly pleas for Halloween candy and are hosting the in-laws this week for Thanksgiving.
Time to attend to a wish of your own.
Get your ticket to the ball — Zanzibar Fairytale Puppet Theater’s production of Cinderella. After two years of prep, the show debuts Friday night, right after the tree lighting in Union Square. Broadway fans (not to mention their wee charges) will be dazzled by a cast of 22 puppets and a lush score.
With goodie bags filled with fairy dust, a Viennese dessert buffet (cakes, cookies, tarts, hot choc), and an indoor snowfall, everyone’s wishes will be granted.
No strings attached.
Performances, Friday-December 28, at Sir Francis Drake Hotel, 450 Powell Street, near Sutter Street (415-392-7755 or sirfrancisdrake.com). Tickets online at tix.theatrebayarea.org. For more information, go to zanzibarpuppets.com. ![]()
