Toy with It
2008 Holiday Gift Guide

Recession or not, ’tis the season to spread joy with packages big and small.
Big Boxes
Future engineers can customize a robot from RobotGalaxy (Toys “R” Us Times Square,
1514 Broadway, level 2; 877-784-7464), where each of the space-agers features interchangeable parts and mix-and-match galactic gear.
For the budding adventurer, try the Wonder World embroidered map (The Met Store, 1000 Fifth Avenue; 212-570-3894) and explore an amazing array of country names, indigenous animals, and landmarks.
Small Packages
Little ones will love colorful Danish elves by Maileg (Dig og Mig, 150 Seventh Avenue South; 212-675-6112), while bigger kids will keep busy with a mega art set (Mxyplyzyk, 125 Greenwich Avenue; 800-243-9810) bursting with pencils, pastels, and paints.
Kids of all ages can store their loot in a Sumo Box, which is strong enough to sit on but folds right up when empty.
Happy unwrapping!
