Party On
The Coop Opens

Warning: Celebrating your 3-year-old in a primary-colored, windowless space cluttered with toys is hazardous to your health.
To greatly reduce the risk of birthday party insanity, host your next bash at The Coop. The new 2,600-square-foot space appeals to both kids and grown-ups, with well-designed play areas, retro cool games, and classic modern furniture.
Counteract toddler overload with a cappuccino break in the garden while supervised madness ensues in the ball pit, on the bouncer, and down the curly slide. Busting a move on the electronic dance floor is highly recommended.
Major side effects may include having a good time.
The Coop, 11118 Ventura Boulevard, at Vineland Avenue, Studio City (818-760-9613 or thecoop-la.com). Grand opening party, Saturday, 2-6 p.m. R.S.V.P. to 818-760-9385.
