Give Until It Works
WWF’s Extraordinary Gifts Catalog

He says “iPod.” You say “eight-track.” She says “cell phone.” You say “walkie-talkie.”
Instead of calling the whole gift-buying thing off, give something everyone can appreciate — a donation from the World Wildlife Fund’s recently launched Extraordinary Gifts Catalog.
No ho-hum toys and trinkets here (cleaned up the holiday wrapping debris yet?). Just set-dollar-amount gifts to programs benefiting children and education.
Give to the WWF Girls Scholarship Program, where a $1,000 contribution helps educate little ladies for one year in Kenya, Tanzania, Nepal, Hutan, and Madagascar. Or you can dig a lot deeper and donate $25,000 to expand the program and help even more.
Other programs include scholarships, training, and two-year graduate fellowships for a young conservationist.
Consider the act of charity, kindness, or generosity among the very best gifts.
No matter what you call it.
