Food for Thought

Homemade Baby

homemade baby!

Woe is the postmodern parent. On one hand, you’ll do anything to protect your pumpkin from chemicals and junk.

But you’re just no good at playing the mean, carob-obsessed, no-treats-ever food fascist, either.

Before you call the parents’ support group, give Homemade Baby a ring. They churn out no-holds-barred wholesome stuff (under the watchful eye of a Le Cordon Bleu chef) that babes and toddlers lap up like candy.

Certified organic and kosher, the baby food arrives (look, ma, no schlepping) freshly made of nothing but pure produce. They hand-cook everything — silky smooth infant versions (in simple flavors like Just Pears and Just Sweet Potatoes), mushier textures for older babies (like Squapple, a.k.a. roasted squash with apples), and chunky renditions for toddlers (little palates dig Yummy Yammies, made of sweet potato and lentils).

If only healthy food could solve all the conundrums of modern parenting.

In the meantime, this should give us something to chew on.
